Due to that possibly bogus spceeh, Chief Logan must have been the most famous Indian in the 19th century (like Chief Seattle and his bogus spceeh nowadays). The valley right to the east of us here in central PA is called Logan Valley, following a probably apocryphal story that Logan's cabin was next to Big Spring in what is now the town of Tyrone. Logan toponymns extend from West Virginia to upstate New York.
