Obituary of Irene C. Larabee

LARABEE Irene C. Age 84 formerly of Terry Hill Road in Horseheads , NY passed away on Sunday June 17 , 2012 at Seneca View Nursing Home in Montour Falls , NY . Irene was born Apil 21 , 1928 in Horseheads , NY the daughter of the late Harry E. and Cecelia Ostrander Kiser . She married her husband , Grant S. Larabee Jr. , who pre-deceased her on November 19 , 1987. Irene was also pre-deceased by her brother Ivan Kiser . Irene loved her family and friends and treasured the time she spent with them. Irene is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law : Ruth & Robert Bowen of Spencer , NY and Helen & Daniel Teed of Watkins Glen , NY ; grandchildren : Kelly Bowen , Ryan & Marianne Bowen , Sarah Teed , and Danielle Teed ; great granddaughter : McKenzie Laine Bowen ; sister : Carrie E. Mizio of Big Flats , NY ; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law : Dorothy Larabee Devendorf of Horseheads , NY and Beverly & Ed Besley of Montour Falls , NY ; several nieces , nephews , cousins , and a host of caring friends . Relatives and friends are invited to call at the LYNCH FUNERAL HOME 318 WEST BROAD STREET HORSEHEADS , NY on Tuesday June 19 , 2012 from 4-6 PM. Mrs. Larabee's Funeral and Committal Services will be held at the conclusion of calling hours at 6 PM. The Rev. Anne Campbell will officiate. Irene will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband Grant in Maple Grove Cemetery in Horseheads , NY.
