WENDLING George F. Age 85 of Millport , New York passed away on Sunday July 22 , 2012 at Elcor Nursing Home in Horseheads , NY . George was born November 26 , 1926 in Elmira , NY the son of the late George F. and Mina Kimble Wendling . He married his wife , Margaret C. Yeagle Wendling , on May 16 , 1981 and they recently celebrated their 31st Wedding Anniversary on May 16 , 2012. George was a retired carpenter at Kennedy Valve in Elmira , NY. Mr. Wendling is survived by his wife Margaret C. Yeagle Wendling ; son : Edward Wendling and Janette Hevner of Woodhull , NY ; grandchildren : Brenden Wendling , Kristina Wendling , and Kaleb Hevner ; sister : Georgianna Dailey of York , SC ; several nieces , nephews , and a host of caring friends . Relatives and friends are invited to call at the LYNCH FUNERAL HOME 318 WEST BROAD STREET HORSEHEADS , NY on Thursday July 26 , 2012 from 1-3 PM . Mr. Wendling's Funeral Services will be held at the conclusion of calling hours with Chaplain David Knuppenburg officiating . Interment in Riverside Cemetery in Lowman , NY.
