Obituary of Steven L. Parsons

PARSONS , STEVEN L. Age 58 of Corning , NY passed away on Saturday August 23 , 2014 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester , NY. Steve was born November 5 , 1955 in Elmira , NY the son of Clifford and Marjorie Nichols Parsons . He married his wife , Dawn Carlson Parsons , on August 14 , 1976 and they recently celebrated their 38th Wedding Anniversary. Steve was an employee of The Bath VA Medical Center prior to his illness. He loved racing and his family and friends and the time he spent with them. Steve was pre-deceased by his father Clifford Parsons . Steve is survived by his loving and devoted wife Dawn Carlson Parsons ; sons and daughters-in-law : Kevin & Paula Parsons of Corning , NY , Brandon & Sara Parsons of Beaver Dams , NY , Nicholas Parsons and Brett Parsons both of Beaver Dams , NY ; grandchildren : Paige , Blake , Britany , and Kelsea ; his beloved mother Marjorie Nichols Parsons of Montour Falls , NY ; sister : Brenda Parsons of Genoa , NY ; several brothers-in-law , sisters-in-law , aunts , uncles , nieces , nephews , cousins , and a host of caring friends. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the LYNCH FUNERAL HOME 318 WEST BROAD STREET HORSEHEADS , NY on Saturday August 30 , 2014 from 11 AM to 2 PM .
