I am so sorry and sad that Al left within 1 year of Steve. I can’t imagine how hard this must be for you, Gloria and Debbie, I am so sorry. I know there are no words that can bring you less pain.
I just know that Al was an amazing and inspiring man…he was truly a warrior!…in the battle field and in his life. I will always remember how he took me in his arms when we first met and taught me dancing….I felt so welcomed into his home. And I will remember all his great stories during his time at war. There are so many fond memories of Al. I am going to miss him :(
They said “when you lose a loved one here on earth, we gain an angel in heaven that watches over us.” I know this is a fact, for Steve has been watching over me, and I am sure you both know Al and Steve are watching over you two as well.
