Obituary of Glenna E. Yusko

YUSKO , GLENNA ETHEL SCHOONOVER Age 87 of Horseheads , NY passed away on Thursday January 15 , 2015 after a brief illness. Glenna was born in Woodhull , NY on February 1 , 1927 the daughter of the late Leland and Maude Jordan Schoonover . She married her husband , Andrew James Yusko , on June 5 , 1948 and he pre-deceased her on October 30 , 2004. Mrs. Yusko was also pre-deceased by her daughter Cynthia E. Yusko Masny on April 5, 2005. She was also pre-deceased by her brothers and sisters and their spouses Carl and Rose , Sherman and Ileana , Clayton and Gertrude , Nina and Roger , Winnona and Lou , and Blanche . Glenna is survived by her sister Evelyn Caward of Canisteo , NY and sister-in-law Marion (Mrs. John) Yusko of Horseheads , NY . Glenna was the Mother of 10 children who loved her dearly. Stephen & Patricia Yusko of Horseheads , NY , Andrew Yusko of Tioga , PA , Mary Yusko Haupt & Daniel Haupt of Big Flats , NY , Mark & Julia Yusko of Elmira , NY , Thomas & Linda Yusko of Wellsburg , NY , son-in-law Walley Masny of Merritt Island , Florida , David & Lynn Yusko of Summerville, SC , Gregory Yusko of Elmira , NY ,Christopher Yusko of Folly Beach , SC , and Jeanette Yusko Ramsay & Tom Ramsay of Cocoa Beach , Florida . Glenna was a Grandmother to 39 Grandchildren , Great Grandma of 30 Great Grandchildren , and Great Great Grandmother of 2 Great Great Grandchildren . Glenna will be remembered as a wonderful friend and as a confidant with great knowledge. She loved to play pinochle with her children . Glenna was a homemaker , an exceptional cook , and an avid gardner who will be missed by all who knew her . Relatives and friends are invited to call at the LYNCH FUNERAL HOME 318 WEST BROAD STREET HORSEHEADS , NY on Sunday January 25 , 2015 from Noon to 2 PM . Mrs. Yusko's Funeral Services will be held at the conclusion of calling hours with Rev. Scott Kubinski officiating . Glenna's Burial Services will be on Monday January 26 , 2015 at 11 AM at St. Mary Our Mother Cemetery on Westlake Street in Horseheads , NY.
