Obituary of Pauline M. Huggins

HUGGINS , PAULINE M. Age 86 of Horseheads , NY went Home to be with her Lord after a loving and very honorable life on Friday April 3, 2015 . Pauline was born February 14 , 1929 in Williamsport , PA the daughter of the late William and Pauline Stamp Keiffer . She married her husband Everett H. Huggins Jr. on September 13 , 1947 and they would have celebrated their 68th Wedding Anniversary on September 13 , 2015. Pauline was an avid gardner , quilter , and loved sewing . She loved her family and friends and treasured the time she spent with them . Pauline is survived by her loving daughter Paulette M. Huggins of Elmira , NY and her son Matthew (Heather) Huggins and their son Jack Everett Huggins ; son and daughter-in-law : William R. & Tyna L. Huggins of Dunnellon , Florida and Bill's children Tammy Huggins and Bart Huggins ; adopted daughter ; Deborah Bascombe of Florida ; sisters : Mary Benedict of Florida , Gretchen Lathrop of Florida , Kathryn Hess of Horseheads , NY , and Karen Bola of Horseheads , NY ; several nieces , nephews , cousins , and a host of caring friends . Relatives and friends are invited to attend Pauline's Memorial Service on Saturday April 18 , 2015 at 1 PM at the LYNCH FUNERAL HOME 318 WEST BROAD STREET HORSEHEADS , NY. The family wishes to give a special thank you to Dr. Rodgers , Dr. Bowman , Dr. Jennings and all the nurses at The Arnot Ogden Medical Center for their stellar care given to our wife , mother , and grandmother . Pauline will be laid to rest at Woodlawn National Cemetery in Elmira , NY at the convenience of the family. The family will provide their own flowers and those wishing may remember Mrs. Huggins through memorials to Emmanuel Episcopal Church 380 Pennsylvania Avenue Elmira , NY 14904 or to a charity of one's choice.
