Obituary of James A. Carrigan

CARRIGAN JAMES A. "JIMBO" Age 82 of Horseheads, NY passed away on Wednesday August 26, 2015. He was born in Owego, NY on August 6, 1933 the son of the late Francis and Ethel News Carrigan. Jimbo was retired from Westinghouse Corporation in Horseheads, NY. He was a lifetime fan of the Elmira Pioneers, the Elmira Jackals, and a die hard NY Yankees fan. Jimbo was a member of the Heights American Legion. Mr. Carrigan was pre-deceased by many brothers and sisters. James is survived by his loving wife of 57 years of Marriage Florence "Lou" Hamilton Carrigan; son and daughter-in-law: Dennis and Dolores Carrigan of Elmira Heights, NY; daughter and son-in-law: Fayth and Roger Wiggins of Elmira Heights, NY; grandchildren: Kendra and Kevin Clark; Kimberly and fiancé Jared Ungerland; Christy and Tim Frost; Melissa and Daryl Brill; Heather Wiggins; 7 great grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law: Nancy and Sonny Pond; several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of caring friends. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the LYNCH FUNERAL HOME 318 WEST BROAD STREET HORSEHEADS, NY on Monday August 31, 2015 from 2-4PM. Mr. Carrigan's Funeral Services will be held at the conclusion of calling hours at 4PM. Interment in Maple Grove Cemetery in Horseheads, NY.
