Obituary of Louis F. Muccigrosso

MUCCIGROSSO , LOUIS F. Age 69 of Horseheads , NY passed away on Tuesday October 6 , 2015 after an extended illness. Louis was born December 15 , 1945 in Elmira, NY the son of the late Frank D. and Manuella Monte Muccigrosso. Louie was a retired chef having worked at Casablanca Inn , El Monte's , Mandell's , and Beef's . He enjoyed playing golf with his uncle Joe Monte in years past. He loved his family and friends and treasured the time he spent with them . Louie is survived by his long-time companion Roberta "Bert" Johnson ; his daughters : Johna (Shawn) Evenden of Big Flats , NY , Denise Russell of Syracuse , NY , and Gina Muccigrosso of Elmira , NY ; sister and brother-in-law : Anna Marie & Anthony Rydzewski Jr. of Sugar Loaf , PA ; aunts : Paula Monte Chapman and Kathryn Monte both of Elmira , NY whom helped raise Louie after his father died when Louie was 9 days old ; several grandchildren , great grandchildren , nieces , nephews , cousins and a host of caring friends including a special cousin Roxann Margeson. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Gravesite Service on Tuesday October 13 , 2015 at 1 PM at St. Peter & Paul's Cemetery in Elmira , NY. Arrangements are entrusted to the LYNCH FUNERAL HOME 318 WEST BROAD STREET HORSEHEADS ,NY.
