Obituary of Gordon E. Hartsock Jr.

HARTSOCK,GORDON E. JR. Age 52 of Millport,NY went to be with Our Lord and Saviour Tuesday September 27,2016. Gordon was born in Elmira , NY on July 11 , 1964 the son of Gordon E. and Waneta Clark Hartsock Sr.. he graduated from Horseheads High School Class of 1983 and attended BOCES. Gordon was an employee of Trayer Products in Elmira , NY .He volunteered at Riverside Methodist Church on the last Saturday of the month at the Food Pantry . Gordon was a former member of The Millport Volunteer Fire Department. Gordon loved going to car shows to show his "87" Mercury Cougar and enjoyed riding his motorcycle, He was pre-deceased by his brothers Larry Hartsock on July 10 , 1979 and Gerry L. Hartsock Sr. on December 14,2010.Gordon loved his family and friends and treasured the time he spent with them . Gordon will be laid to rest in Millport Cemetery. Gordon is survived by his parents Gordon E. and Waneta Clark Hartsock Sr. Of Millport , NY ; brothers and sisters-in-law : Paul Hartsock , Mark & Skip Hartsock , Terry & Mary Hartsock all of Millport ,NY ; sister and brother-in-law : Michelle & Roger Hartman of Horseheads , NY ; sister-in-law : Loretta Masin Hartsock of Watkins Glen , NY ; several aunts , uncles , nieces , nephews , cousins , and numerous caring friends. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the LYNCH FUNERAL HOME 318 WEST BROAD STREET HORSEHEADS , NY on Friday September 30, 2016 from 6-8 PM . Gordon's Funeral Services will be held at the Funeral Home on Saturday October 1 , 2016 at 4 PM . Gordon will be laid to rest in Millport Cemetery. The family will provide their own flowers and those wishing may remember Gordon through memorials to The American Diabetes Foundation.
