SCRIVEN , JANICE W. Age 68 of Horseheads , NY went to be with her Lord and Saviour on Saturday October 1 , 2016. Janice was born February 13 , 1948 in Kassel , Germany the daughter of Harry W. and Waltraud Buhs Scriven. Janice was retired from Chemung County Employment Opportunities in Elmira , NY. She was pre-deceased by her father Harry W. Scriven on February 10 , 1991. Janice loved her family and friends and treasured the time she spent with them. Janice is survived by her mother Waltraud Buhs Scriven of Horseheads , NY ; sisters and brothers-in-law : Paula & Terry Love of Horseheads , NY , Diane & Steven Taylor of Horseheads , NY , Pamela & David Riker of Roanoke , VA , Mary & Tim Cleary of Horseheads , NY , and Lisa & Glenn Coats of Horseheads , NY ; brothers and sisters-in-law : Thomas & Jeri Scriven of Missouri and James Scriven of Horseheads , NY ; uncle : Carl Palmer of Florida ; several nieces , nephews , cousins , and a host of caring friends. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the LYNCH FUNERAL HOME 318 WEST BROAD STREET HORSEHEADS , NY on Wednesday October 5 , 2016 from 4-7 PM . Janice's Funeral Services will be held at the Funeral Home on Thursday October 6, 2016 at 10 AM with Rev. Patrick Neyman officiating. Janice will be laid to rest next to her father Harry in Scotchtown Cemetery in Erin , NY.
