Obituary of Robert W. Wolcott

WOLCOTT , ROBERT W. Age 87 of Altoona, PA passed from this life on Friday November 25, 2016 . He lived at Graystone Manor in Altoona, PA with his beloved wife Arlene of 61 years, until she passed away on July 17, 2016. He was born in Akron, OH on November 15, 1929 the son of the late Philip and Nora Baldwin Neish Wolcott. Bob and Arlene devoted their lives to their two children Philip T. Wolcott and Dawn M. Wolcott. Robert was pre-deceased by his loving wife Arlene Wolcott; his son Philip T. Wolcott on November 29 , 1979; brother George Wolcott; half brother: Philip Wolcott, and a step brother and 2 step sisters. Robert was a Veteran of the Korean War serving his country with the U.S. Marine Corp. He spent most of his leisure time enjoying his favorite sport, golf. Robert is survived by his daughter and son-in-law : Dawn and William Filer of Port Matilda , PA ; sister: Ethel Warren of NY; many nieces , nephews , cousins and host of caring friends. Family and friends are invited to attend a Service of Remembrance and Personal Reflections of Robert's Life on Thursday December 1 , 2016 a 1 PM at the LYNCH FUNERAL HOME 318 WEST BROAD STREET HORSEHEADS , NY. Robert will be laid to rest next to his beloved wife Arlene and his son Philip in Maple Grove Cemetery in Horseheads , NY where Full Military Honors will be accorded to him.
