Obituary of Cindy E. Huffner

HUFFNER , CINDY E. age 54 of Campbell , NY passed away unexpectedly on Sunday January 1 , 2017 at home. Cindy was born October 10 , 1962 in Montour Falls , NY the daughter of Sylvia A. Horton Edmister and Isaac Edmister. On June 19 , 1982 , she married her husband Douglas E. Huffner Jr. Cindy and Douglas enjoyed over 30 years of love and memories together before his passing on September 6 , 2012. Cindy was a beloved wife , mother , grandmother , daughter , sister , aunt , and friend . She dedicated her life to her family and friends and treasured the time she spent with them. Cindy is loved and will forever be missed by her children Douglas E. (Stephanie) Huffner III of Elmira , NY , Chad C. (Sheila) Huffner of Wayland , NY , and Sherri-Ann E. Pecor of Campbell , NY ; three grandchildren : Taylor-Ann Huffner , Baylee-Kwynn Pecor , and Douglas E. Huffner IV ; her mother and father ; Sylvia A. Reed of Campbell . NY and Issac Edmister of Elmira , NY ; brothers and sisters ; Leon ( Beth) Reed , Lon (Karen) Reed , Wendy Saylor , and Terri Holley ; several brothers-in-law , sisters-in-law , aunts , uncles , nieces , nephews , and a host of caring friends. Relatives and friends are invited to call at The Moreland Presbyterian Church 3045 Moreland Road Beaver Dams , NY at 2 PM on Saturday January 7 , 2017 . Cindy will be laid to rest with her husband Douglas in Maple Grove Cemetery in Horseheads , NY at the convenience of the family.
