STOOKS , KATHLEEN E. Age 68 of Horseheads , NY passed away after an extended illness on Monday March 20 , 2017 . Kathleen was born September 15 , 1948 in Elmira , NY the daughter of the late John and Evelyn Southard Stooks . She was a graduate of Horseheads High School Class of 1966 and received her Bachelor's Degree from The University of Rochester . Kathy loved music and was an avid New York Yankees fan. She was a member of The First United Methodist Church of Horseheads . Kathleen is survived by her sisters and brother Marilyn Stooks of Phoenix , AZ , Lois & Merritt Wilson of Horseheads , NY , John Richard & Janet Stooks of East Syracuse , NY , and Ann Stooks of Horseheads , NY ; aunt : Bonnie Southard of Erin , NY ; several nieces , nephews , cousins , and friends .The family would like to give a Special Thank You to the Respiratory Therapists at St. Joseph's Hospital. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Kathleen's Memorial Service on Saturday March 25 , 2017 at 11 AM at The First United Methodist Church 1034 West Broad Street Horseheads, NY .
