Obituary of Sarah L. Messing

MESSING , SARAH L. "Sally" Age 75 of Elmira , NY passed away on Sunday August 6, 2017 after an extended illness. Sarah was born January 16 , 1942 in Elmira , NY the daughter of the late Arthur L. and Ruth Parker Lawton. She was a graduate of Jean Summers Business School . Sally married her husband , Henry A. "Hank" Messing , on May 11, 1968 and he pre-deceased her on April 3 , 2010. Sally was a retired bank clerk at Chemung Canal Trust Company in Elmira , NY . She and her husband loved to travel and were members of The New York State Covered Bridge Society . Sally is survived by many cousins and her friend Donna McConnell of Elmira , NY and family friend Gary Searles. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Sally's Gravesite Service on Monday August 14 , 2017 at 11 AM in Maple Grove Cemetery 715 West Broad Street Horseheads , NY. The Rev.
