Obituary of Karen I. Wrobleski

KAREN I. WROBLESKI Age 76 of Horseheads , NY passed away on Saturday September 23 , 2017 after a courageous battle with an unexpected illness. Karen was born June 30 , 1941 in Berwick, PA the daughter of the late Luther and Ernestine Bartholomew Johns . Karen is survived by her loving and devoted husband of almost 55 years Charles S. Wrobleski Jr. ; her loving children : Dr. Kerry & David Houston of New Hampshire and Charles & Paulette Wrobleski of Horseheads, NY ; her beloved grandchildren : Emily Houston, Thomas Houston, Carissa Mathews, Justin Mathews, and Josh Mathews ; sister and brother-in-law: Lucinda & Skip Markham of Florida ; brother-in-law and sister-in-law ; Richard & Marie Wrobleski of Endwell,NY ; several nieces, nephews ,cousins , and many caring friends. Karen loved her family and friends and treasured the time she spent with them. She also found great joy in gardening and being a member of The Red Hat Society (Big Flats Mad Hatters) . Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial celebrating Karen's Life on Saturday September 30 , 2017 at 9:30 AM at St. Mary Our Mother Church 816 West Broad Street Horseheads,NY . Karen will be laid to rest with her parents in Elan Memorial Park in Bloomsburg , PA. In lieu of flowers , those wishing may remember Karen through memorials to a cancer charity of their choice.
