Obituary of Shirley A. Bellows

BELLOWS , SHIRLEY A. Age 74 of Millport , NY passed away on Friday June 28 , 2013 after a courageous battle with cancer. Shirley was born January 29 , 1939 in Watkins Glen , NY the daughter of the late John N. and Kathleen E. Templar Paris . She married her husband , Brooks K. Bellows , on December 6 , 1954 and he pre-deceased her on May 25 , 2007. Shirley was also pre-deceased by her brothers John and James . Shirley was a loving wife , mother , grandmother , aunt , and friend to all . She loved her family and friends and cherished the time she spent with them. Mrs. Bellows is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law : Debbra & Roger Rockhill of Millport , NY , Karen & Michael Richards of Flagler Beach , Florida , JoAnn & David Webb of Horseheads , NY and Pamela & William Everetts of Beaver Dams , NY ; son and daughter-in-law : Brooks K. & Dawn Bellows of Millport , NY ; special son : James Paris of Land O Lakes , Florida ; 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren ; several nieces , nephews , cousins , and a host of caring friends including special friends Paul Kastenhuber and Fawn Cady. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the LYNCH FUNERAL HOME 318 WEST BROAD STREET HORSEHEADS , NY on Monday July 1 , 2013 from 6-8 PM . Shirley's Funeral Services will be held at the Funeral Home on Tuesday July 2 , 2013 at 10 AM . Shirley will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband Brooks in Millport Cemetery in Millport , NY.
