Obituary of Peter J. Kondrach

KONDRACH PETER J. SR. Age 61 of Breesport , NY passed away on Wednesday July 3 , 2013. Peter was born July 23 , 1951 in Johnson City , NY the son of Peter and Beverly Nichols Kondrach . He was a Vietnam Veteran serving his country with the U.S. Navy . Peter married his wife , Sheryl A. Salak Kondrach , on December 18 , 1971 and they recently celebrated their 41st Wedding Anniversary. Peter was pre-deceased by his father Peter Kondrach. He loved his model car and match box collection as well as riding his motorcycle. Peter is survived by his wife Sheryl A. Kondrach ; son and daughter-in-law : Peter J. & Stacy Kondrach Jr. of Horseheads , NY ; grandchildren : Ritchie , Victoria , Isaac , Rheya , Dakoda , Ayanna , and Genevieve ; mother : Beverly Nichols Kondrach of Port Charlotte , Florida ; sisters and brothers : Cheryl & Stephen Stephenson of Orlando , Florida , Anthony & Mona Fiore of Alva , Florida , Kimberly & Joe Dutton of Port Charlotte , Florida , Linda Kondrach of Crossville , TN , and John & Natalie Kondrach of Crossville , TN ; step - mother : Sandra Kondrach of Crossville , TN ; father-in-law : Thomas Salak Sr . of Guilford , NY ; mother-in-law : Florence I. Salak of Bainbridge , NY ; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law : Linda & Ernie Whitacre , Thomas & Cindy Salak Jr. , and Peg & David Robinson all of Bainbridge , NY ; several nieces , nephews , cousins , and a host of caring friends . A Celebration of Peter's Life will be held on Saturday July 13 , 2013 at 2 PM at The Masonic Temple (next to Post Office) Route 223 in Breesport , NY . Peter will be interred at Woodlawn National Cemetery in Elmira, NY on Monday July 15 , 2013 at 2 PM where Full Military Honors will be accorded Mr. Kondrach. Arrangements are entrusted to the LYNCH FUNERAL HOME 318 WEST BROAD STREET HORSEHEADS, NY .
