Obituary of Mary Ann Guthrie

MARY ANN GUTHRIE AGE 94 of Horseheads , NY passed away on Monday February 26 , 2018 at Corning Guthrie Hospital . Mary Ann was born November 21 , 1923 in Reading , PA the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Blitz Callahan . She married her husband Henry W. Guthrie and he pre-deceased her on March 3 , 1983 . Mary Ann was also pre-deceased by her brothers and sisters as well as her husband Henry's brothers and sisters . Mary Ann was a communicant of St. Mary Our Mother Church and a member of The Legion of Mary . Mrs. Guthrie is survived by her children Henry J. Guthrie of Horseheads , NY , Patricia & Robert Townson of Elmira , NY , and Michael Guthrie of Bath , NY ; grandchildren : Shannon Guthrie Swaze , Robert Townson Jr. , and Richard Townson ; 15 great-grandchildren ; several nieces , nephews , cousins , and a host of friends . Gravesite Committal Services will be held at 10 AM on Thursday March 1 , 2018 at St. Mary Our Mother Cemetery in Horseheads , NY . The Rev Richard Farrell will officiate. Arrangements are entrusted to the LYNCH FUNERAL HOME 318 WEST BROAD STREET HORSEHEADS , NY.
