Obituary of Carl T. Hockeborn

CARL T. HOCKEBORN Age 92 of Horseheads, NY passed away on Thursday June 28 , 2018. Carl was born on May 31 , 1926 in Auburn , NY the son of the late Carl T. and Thelma LeFevre Hockeborn. He was a Veteran of World War II serving his country with The U.S. Army. Carl married his wife Ann Elizabeth Moseley Hockeborn in 1950 and she pre-deceased him on April 21 , 2002. He was also pre-deceased by his sister Janice Hatch. Mr. Hockeborn was a retired Mechanical Engineer at Moore Business Forms in Elmira, NY. Carl is survived by his children: James A. Hockeborn of Erin, NY; Thomas C. Hockeborn; Gregg Hockeborn; and Jane Hockeborn all of Horseheads, NY; granddaughters: Claire Hockeborn and Brooke Hockeborn; sister-in-law: Jean A. Ventura of Baldwinsville, NY; nieces and nephews: Steven and Leslie Ventura; Mike and Kathleen Ventura; Carol and John Commane; Ann Ventura and Robin Kubicki; Joe and Kim Ventura, all of Baldwinsville, NY; Sue and Mike Jones of Auburn, NY; and Barbie and Jamie Brownley of FL. There will be no prior calling hours. Mr. Hockeborn's Funeral Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Carl will be laid to rest next to his beloved wife Ann Elizabeth in Maple Grove Cemetery in Horseheads, NY. The family will provide their own flowers and those wishing may remember Mr. Hockeborn through a charity of one's choice.
