Obituary of Marilyn J. Saxton Keck

Marilyn Camden Saxton Keck Marilyn J. Keck, 96, died May 12, 2020 in Horseheads, New York. Marilyn Jean Camden was born November 21, 1923 in Chicago, Illinois. After finishing high school in Chicago, Marilyn made her home in Washington, D.C., with her only sister, Betty, during World War II. During this time, she met and married Reginald Saxton of Elmira, and after living briefly in New York City, they made their home in Elmira, New York where their only child, Sherry, was born and educated. Reginald died in January 1984 and in June 1989, Marilyn married J. Wayne Keck, who died in December 2008. Marilyn's parents George and Doris Marcella (Fogler) Camden and her sister Betty Johnson predeceased Marilyn also. Her daughter Sherry Montgomery of Cheyenne, Wyoming, and numerous nieces and nephews survive her. Marilyn was an avid reader, accomplished seamstress and participated in local civic organizations. At her request, no services will be held. Marilyn will be interred at Woodlawn Cemetery, Elmira, New York with the assistance of Lynch Funeral Home. Donations in memory of Marilyn are welcome to the Chemung County Humane Society & SPCA of Elmira, New York.
