Obituary of Robert Charles Haynes

Robert Charles Haynes age 91 of Horseheads, NY formerly of Batavia, NY and Elba, NY passed away on Thursday November 19, 2020. Robert was born June 11, 1929 in Batavia , NY the son of the late Wilber G. and Gladys E. Booth Haynes. He married his wife, Jennie M. Robutka Haynes, who pre-deceased her on April 20, 2012. Robert was also pre-deceased by his siblings Wilber G. , John Paul "Jack" , and Virginia Ruth as well as his son-in-law Richard A. Wiley on June 15, 2014. He was a retired employee of The Elba Central School System. Robert loved his family and friends and treasured the time he spent with them. Mr. Haynes is survived by his children : Mary K. Hester of Centerville, VA , Patricia A. Wiley of Horseheads, NY , and David S. and Laura Haynes of Peyton, Colorado; grandchildren: Alanna Wiley, Rachel Wiley, Mark Haynes, and Kyle and Alyssa Haynes ; great grandchildren: Domenico Battista, Onaleigha Allen, Kayanna Allen, and Kayley Hopkins, Michael Guerrero, and Leonardo Guerrero ; several nieces, nephews, cousins , and a host of caring friends. A Celebration of Robert's Life will be held privately at the LYNCH FUNERAL HOME 318 WEST BROAD STREET HORSEHEADS, NY .
