Obituary of Donna Louise Henderson

Donna Louise Henderson age 73 of Elmira Heights, NY formerly of Hornell, NY passed away on Wednesday January 27, 2021 at home surrounded by her loving family. Donna was born September 22, 1947 in Hornell, NY the daughter of the late Orville and Helen Gordon Smith. She married her husband Paul R. Henderson and he pre-deceased her on November 11, 1997. Donna was a retired secretary for SCAP in Bath , NY. She loved her family and friends and treasured the time she spent with them. Donna is survived by her son and his fiance': Ian Henderson and Rene' Smith of Canisteo, NY ; daughters and son-in-law: Heather Henderson Bevaqua of Dansville, NY and Helen and Jeff Oney of Bath, NY ; grandchildren: Alicia Henderson, Hannah Henderson, Leah Brown, Serah Henderson, Olivia Bevaqua, Lucas Bevaqua, Sophia Oney, Seth Bine, Sophia Biner; great grandchildren: Hayden Henderson and Myles Henderson ; brother and sister-in-law: Aaron and Sylvia Smith of Avon, NY ; sister and brother-in-law: Robin and Gregory Koss of Plant City, Florida ; beloved companion Gerald Butts of Elmira Heights, NY and his family daughter Cheryl Montgomery of Elmira, NY; grandson Matthew and Nicole Montgomery of Elmira, NY; great grandchildren Ciana, Amelia, and Brenden Montgomery ; granddaughter Krista and George Lisk of Wesley Chapel, Florida ; great grandchildren Caleb and Blake; son: James Butts of Atlanta, GA; several nieces , nephews, cousins, extended family, and a host of caring friends. There will be no prior calling hours . Donna will be laid to rest with her husband Paul in Bath National Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
