Obituary of David B. Delorme

David Bruce Delorme age 82 of Riparius, NY formerly of Elmira Heights, NY passed away on Thursday December 24, 2020. David was born April 29, 1938 in Rochester, NY the son of the late Rev. Robert A. and Laurine Randall Delorme . He taught spent over 30 years teaching Business Classes at Thomas A. Edison High School. David is survived by his three children: Jeff and Kim Delorme, Daniel and Linnea Delorme, and Jacinda Delorme. He was pre-deceased by his son Darrell Delorme. David is also survived by seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He is also survived by sisters Tanya Delorme and Donna (Mrs. Lee) Brooks, several nieces , nephews, cousins, and a host of caring friends. David was extremely proud of being a Vietnam War Air Force Veteran. He was a well known as a sports official throughout the area. David was also a volunteer firefighter in both Elmira Heights for many years and then in Riverside Volunteer Fire Department in Riparius, NY. At 82 years old he was the first person at the fire station when there was a call day or night. In honor of that his family requests that memorial donations in David's name may be directed to The Riverside Volunteer Fire Depart in Riparius, NY 12862. David was laid to rest in Woodlawn National Cemetery in Elmira, NY where Full Military Honors were accorded to him.
