Obituary of Michella R. Pike

Michella R. Pike Age 85 of Ithaca, formerly of Cayuta, NY passed on Sunday January 24, 2021. Michella was born on December 16, 1935 in Geneva, NY the daughter of the late Justin and Alice Doolittle DePalma. Mrs. Pike was a retired cook for Elcor Health Services. She married her husband James W. Pike Sr. on June 18, 1954 and he pre-deceased her on September 16, 1998. Michella was also pre-deceased by her brothers: Justin DePalma, Michael G. DePalma; sister: Marie A. Rockwell; son-in-law: Carl F. Fowler. She is survived by her children and their spouses: Michella Diane Fowler; James W. and Danette Pike Jr. of Elmira, NY; Kristy Jo Pike of Orange, TX and Carl Meisner of Gillett, PA; Michael Wayne Pike of Pine Valley, NY; Lucinda M. and Doug Cook of Elmira Heights, NY; Victoria A. and Scott Salter of Elmira, NY; Joseph and Sherri Pike of Pine Valley, NY; David S. and Juanita Pike of Cayuta, NY; brother: Charles DePalma of NC; sisters: Karen Dodson of LA; Roseanne Unwin of Horseheads, NY who passed away on June 21 , 2022 ; 26 grandchildren; 47 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; Devoted Companion Charles "Chuck" Taylor; several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of caring friends. A Celebration of Michella's Life will be held on Saturday July 23, 2022 from 10 to 11 AM at the LYNCH FUNERAL HOME 318 WEST BROAD STREET HORSEHEADS, NY Michela's Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM.
