Obituary of Celine A. Louisnathan

Celine A. Louisnathan age 85 of Big Flats, NY passed away on Friday April 9, 2021 in Virginia. Celine was born July 25, 1935 in Karikal, India the daughter of the late Pillai and Arokia Sironmaniammai Amirdasamy. She married her husband , Sugirdanathan John Louisnathan, on October 22, 1958 and he pre-deceased her on July 19, 1998. Celine was also pre-deceased by her daughter A. Julie Louisnathan on November 18, 1989 , her brother Rev. Father John James Amirdasamy on April 5, 2007 , brother and sister-in-law S. Pouchepanadin and Terese Pouchepanadin and brother Ignace Naden and sister Justine Mary Roche. Celine was devoted parishioner of St. Mary Our Mother Church in Horseheads who volunteered her time and was the Activities Director at Elcor Nursing Home for many years. Celine loved her family and friends and treasured the time she spent with them. Celine in survived by her son and daughter-in-law: Bernard Raj and Geetha Louisnathan of Big Flats, NY ; granddaughter: Neha Julia Louisnathan of Big Flats, NY; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: S. George Vincentnathan of Pan Am , Texas and S. Arulnathan of India and their Families , Flora Hiruthayaraj and Family, Viola Selladurai and Family, and Elizabeth Alexander and Family all of India, several nieces, nephews, and cousins , and a host of caring friends. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the LYNCH FUNERAL HOME 318 WEST BROAD STREET HORSEHEADS, NY on Thursday April 15, from 4 to 7 PM. Celine's Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday April 16, 2021 at 10 AM at St. Mary Our Mother Church in Horseheads, NY. In compliance of COVID Guidelines, facemasks must be worn and social distancing will be maintained at Church as well as the at the Funeral Home. Celine will be laid to rest next to her husband and daughter in St. Mary Our Mother Cemetery.
