Obituary of Frances D. Hutsal

HUTSAL , FRANCES D. "FRAN" Age 69 of Elmira , NY passed away on Tuesday February 11 , 2014 at The Arnot Ogden Medical Center after a brief illness . Fran was born January 28 , 1945 in Cambridge (Guelph) , Ontario , Canada the daughter of the late Frank and Berniece Drummond Curry. She was a Registered Nurse in Canada prior to her marriage to her husband Dr. Edwin P. Hutsal in 1974 . Fran was a member and Elder of The First Presbyterian Church of Elmira . She loved volunteering and she especially enjoyed her volunteer work at The Arnot Ogden Medical Center Information Desk. Fran and Edwin enjoyed their membership at The Elmira Country Club . She loved her family and friends and treasured the time she spent with them and especially her grandchildren . Fran is survived by her husband Dr. Edwin P. Hutsal ; daughters and son-in-law : Jennifer & Aaron Strasser of Greensboro, NC and Kimberly Hutsal of Elmira , NY ; son and daughter-in-law : Stephen & Linda Hutsal of Brooklyn , NY ; grandchildren : Emma , Finn , and Noah Strasser of Greensboro, NC and Frankie Hutsal of Elmira , NY . Fran is also survived by many relatives in Canada and multitude of friends. Relatives and friends are invited to a service celebrating Fran's Life on Sunday February 16 , 2014 at 1 PM at The First Presbyterian Church of Elmira 1054 West Clinton Street at Rambler Road Elmira , NY . The Rev. Betsey R. Crimmins will officiate.
