Obituary of James W. Smith

James W. Smith age 89 of Villa Serene in Elmira Heights, NY passed away on Saturday November 27, 2021. Jim was born December 7, 1931 in Blossburg, Pennsylvania. He worked on many farms in Pennsylvania prior to moving to Elmira Heights, NY. Jim volunteered for many organizations in the area and was recognized for his hours of work as Volunteer of The Year for numerous organizations. Jim maintained a simple life style and enjoyed the friends he made at Villa Serene over the years. Jim is survived by his sister Joyce A. Baker of Mulberry, Florida ; several nieces, nephews and a host of caring friends including special friends Christina Eastwood, Russ Rodgers , and Howard Golden at Villa Serene.
