Obituary of Charles M. Mowery

Charles M. Mowery Jr. age 84 of Elmira Heights , NY passed away on Sunday January 16, 2022 at The Arnot Ogden Medical Center in Elmira, NY. Charles was born December 13, 1937 in Elmira, NY the son of the late Charles M. Mowery Sr. and Mary K. McElligott Mowery. He was a Veteran serving his country with the U.S. Air Force from 1956- 1960. Charles was a tool and die maker and worked for Bennett Die & Tool Inc. in Horseheads, NY. He loved computers and electronics. In addition to his parents , Charles was also pre-deceased by his sister and brother-in-law Diane and Dayton "Pete" Knox , brother Richard N. "Dick" Mowery , and brother-in-law Charles H. "Chuck" Schiefen. Charles is survived by his sisters and brother-in-law : Donna S. Schiefen of Horseheads, NY and Margo and Thomas Chimileski of Horseheads, NY ; three daughters: Cindy , Tina, and Mary and their families ; several nieces , nephews , cousins a host of friends . It was Charles' wish that there be no calling hours or services. He will be laid to rest in St. Mary Our Mother Cemetery in Horseheads, NY.
