Obituary of George M. Pribulick Sr.
George M. Pribulick Sr. Age 84 of Bradford, NY formerly of Horseheads, NY passed away on Wednesday August 31, 2022 surrounded by his loving family. George was born November 19, 1937 in Frackville, PA the son of the late Charles and Elizabeth Martin Pribulick. He was a graduate of Elmira Free Academy. George married his wife, Shirley L. Allington Pribulick, on December 1, 1956 and they would have celebrated their 66th Wedding Anniversary on December 1, 2022. He began his career in banking at Marine Midland Bank in Elmira, NY . George then went to work for The Horseheads Savings & Loan which later became First Federal Savings & Loan. He finished his career with HSBC Bank in Horseheads, NY. George was an avid outdoorsman enjoying hunting and fishing and time at the cabin. Family was George's first priority and he instilled that trait in his children and grandchildren. He treasured the time he spent with his family especially at his home on Lamoka Lake. In addition to his parents, George was pre-deceased by his sister Elizabeth Alchimowicz and his sister-in-law and brother-in-law; Phyllis and Evan J. Dolley Sr and Carole (Mrs. Donald) Allington Jr. George is survived by his loving and devoted wife Shirley; his devoted children: son George M. Pribulick Jr. (Deborah) and their children Justin, Tyler, Lauren, and Ben; daughter Cindy M. Grover (Brian) and their children Kevin (Caryn) and Colleen (Bryan) and their grandchildren Mason, Alex, Jillian, and Brody; son Theodore E. Pribulick and his children Theodore and Olivia; son Mickey L. Pribulick (Cheryl) and their daughter Christine and her daughter Jenna; daughter Julie L. Margeit (Terry) and their children Sara Margeit , Jay Margeit (Kait) and their children Kylee and Dallas, and Dylan Margeit and his son Tucker Margeit who shares a birthday with his grandpa; brothers and sisters-in-law: Charles (Janet) Pribulick of Endicott, NY and John (Cindy) Pribulick of Horseheads, NY; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law: Anne & Harold Lauper, Belva Kittle and Donald Allington Jr.; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of caring friends. George's Family would like to thank Dr. Alex Rupik and his staff for their kind and compassionate care given to George. Per George's wishes a Private Funeral was held at the LYNCH FUNERAL HOME 318 WEST BROAD STREET HORSEHEADS, NY on Tuesday September 6, 2022.
