Obituary of Douglas M. Hoyt

Douglas M. Hoyt age 82 of Corning, NY passed away on Sunday December 11, 2022 at The Arnot Ogden Medical Center in Elmira, NY. Douglas was born May 25, 1940 in Elmira , NY the son of the late Gerald and Marian Ryan Spearman. He was also pre-deceased by his brother Peter Michael Hoyt. He worked as a Milk Delivery Man for Bower Dairy in Elmira and was a driver for Totem Taxi for many years. He worked for Narde Event Marketing in Horseheads, NY prior to his retirement. He was married to his former wife Carol Cowan. Doug loved his family and friends and was good friends with Ernie Davis, Leo Hughey , Mike Marrone , The Minotti Brothers , and George Williams. Mr. Hoyt is survived by his daughter Robin Lynne Hoyt and Jeff Proctor of Elmira, NY ; granddaughter: Brittany Barone and Sean Loyd ; great grandson and great granddaughter: Jahvier Dyck and Kaliyah Loyd ; nephews : David Hoyt of Texas and Ricky Hoyt of Endicott , NY; several extended family members and many friends.
