Obituary of Jeannette F. Mizerak

Jeannette F. (Madore) Mizerak, beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, left this life on April 25, 2014, to be reunited with her husband, John ("Red") Mizerak in the everlasting joy of heaven. Jeannette was born on March 12, 1921, in Fall River, Ma. She was predeceased by John, her husband of 52 years; her parents, Felix and Emma Madore, her siblings, Alice, Irene, Yvonne, Albert, Edward, Raymond, and her granddaughter Jennifer Mizerak. She is survived by two sisters, Theresa Hushon and Cecile Liebman; her sisters-in-law Jenny Madore and Dorothy Mizerak; brother-in-law Andre Carrier; Her children John (Priscilla) Mizerak, Alice Mizerak, Jacqueline (Michael) Wampler, Suzanne (Michael) Smith, Janice (George-deceased) Serdula, Daniel (Patricia) Mizerak, Joseph (Donna) Mizerak and James (Susan) Mizerak; grandchildren John and Michael Mizerak, Andrew and Edward Smith, Anthony Serdula, Alicia Hoffman, Julie Murphy, Justin Mizerak, Nicholas, David and Tyler Mizerak, Jessica, Caitlin and Michael Hughey, Michelle Gimelberg, Beth Grzeskowiak, Melissa Mizerak; nine great-grandchildren whom she adored, Alexus and Serenity Mizerak, Natalee Smith, Jacob and Kyle Serdula, Keira and John Murphy, Aiya and Marty Gimelberg. She had many loving nieces and nephews. Jeannette was a parishioner at Saint Mary's Southside, Elmira. The family would like to express their gratitude to the dedicated staff at Bethany Manor in Horseheads, where she happily resided for the past 3.5 years. Jeannette was family oriented all of her life and was happiest surrounded by her family and friends. She loved deeply and was deeply loved. We will miss her beyond words. We feel blessed to have had such a wonderful mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the LYNCH FUNERAL HOME 318 WEST BROAD STREET HORSEHEADS, NY on Sunday May 4, 2014 from 3-7PM. A Funeral Mass will be held at the Dominican Monastery on Church Street in Elmira on May 5 2014 at 10AM.
