Obituary of Lori Lee Rice

Lori Lee (Leonard) Rice, age 58, of Elmira, passed away on January 8, 2024 at Rochester General Hospital. Lori was born on October 21, 1965, the daughter of the late Dale E. and Leone P. (Ducey) Leonard. She attended Hopkins Street, Broadway and Elmira Southside High Schools in Elmira. She attended Elmira Business Institute. Lori also took dance lessons from Madam Halina in Elmira. Lori was employed at Weis Market for many years. Lori loved the outdoors, camping, traveling, riding her four wheeler and spending time on Seneca Lake. She enjoyed roller skating, ice skating, water skiing and spending time with her friends around the campfire. She is survived by her daughter, Jolene Dwyer-Zuke (Flo Zuke); grandson Jaedyn Dwyer, brother Jamie Leonard (Cindy), niece Emily Leonard, previous husband Dave Rice and many Aunts, Uncles, cousins and a host of caring friends. Lori is predeceased by her brother Jody E. Leonard. She is also predeceased by former husband Dave Dwyer. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the LYNCH FUNERAL HOME 318 WEST BROAD STREET HORSEHEADS, NY on Wednesday January 17, 2024 from 12-1 PM and 4-6 PM.
